More family fun

Here are more pics from my family visit. My internet connection is TERRIBLE! I am kind of at my wits end with this and I feel like we have to have to find a new spot for the computer or I will go completley nutty. I have never really had the desire to go back to the days of dial-up. So these few pictures were hard earned and took several hours of try, try again. Anyway.... My family visit was so great and nice and so fun. I still had to workd so I did miss out on a few things. like Boondocks... (not too heart broken about that one) But we had our usual staying up too late, chatting, and laughing. We all took turns with head massages and back scratches. I did everyones hair... I still have so many pictures to post, We blessed Sophie at home so I will post about that next I hope..... but for now.... Me and little Bro Brett... a little tired and silly
Laurie and I riding in the front seat together.... Yes a little dangerous... slightly ilegal, but it's a darn good thing her bum is so tiny.
My mom and Sophie... she is a total baby guru, She can settle her down like nobody's business.
Lucas, Trae, and Brie at texas roadhouse.
Steve-o Loves his steak..... and potatoes
Laurie and her little Reese.

What we've been up to.

I have been busy this last week hanging out with family. Mackenzie flew in from Florida and Laurie flew in from Georgia. They had'nt met Sophie yet and wanted to before she got too big. Steve was a "sister widower" all week, I was too busy doing girl things to pay attention to my husband. I have alot more pics to post but my internet connection is lousy and won't cooperate with me. but here are a few.... baby just woke up....haven't showered yet.... am grumbly in my tumbly.... 3 year old wants to play a game on the computer.... with some luck and a prayer, I will post more later

Pictures!

I finally went and got pictures taken. We considered doing family pictures but that just didn't happen. Here are some of the better shots. We got them taken a portrait innovations. I was pretty happy. We got a photographer that was pretty green and when the manager stepped in we got some better shots. We got the CD with all the shots before they were edited. My mom made Sophie's blessing dress. She used the same fabric that was from my wedding dress. She also made Sammys little outfit. I think he looks like a little JFK or like Christopher Robin.

Breaking Dawn?

So I suppose I will join the rest of the female population and post about Breaking Dawn.... Would it be blasphemy to say I didn't absolutley love it? I enjoyed it yes, but it could have just been so much more. Maybe she felt pressure with a deadline to finish or something. Maybe there was just too much hype. It just really made me want to go and read me some Harry Potter.

A little censorship may be due

So the other day at the grocery store I was getting some milk and had the door open with Sam in front of me. I was deciding how many gallons exactly we needed when a quite impatient, maybe 9/10 year old little girl reached around Sam and I for her own gallon. She tried to lift if over Sammy's head but her little pre-teen arms couldn't lift it quite high enough and it bumped him lightly on his head. He imediatley put his hand to his forehead and spun around in a bit of anger and yelled his phrase that Dad has taught him to replace crying which is "fetch". Well, given his glare at the little girl and his loud voice and his 3 year old-ness it did not sound like fetch...... put a "B" in front of that. Everyone in earshot spun to look at him then me with a shock and horror.... just slightly mortifying.
