Prom hair

So Saturday was a hair marathon. I guess 9 highschools in the area all had Prom. I did a bunch of up-do's and it was great fun. That is like the one thing I miss about highschool is getting all dressed up. After your wedding.... there really aren't many more chances. These girls were great to let me take pictures of them.

Tapioca pudding!

This stuff is so bloody good! It takes so bloody long to make but man... it hit's the spot. Steve and I make it nearly 4 times a week. Make that a double batch 4 times a week. We have even converted the little man. He asks for it before bed now.... we usually make it after he's down for the night so we have to be sneaky when discussing our pudding plans. We have a deal that while I am "stirring constantly" Steve does the dishes. I'll take stirring any day.... I get to sit up on top of the counter and watch a TiVoed episoed of house hunters. For any tapioca virgins.... I highly recomend you endulged.

6 Years!

Our anniversary was yesterday. Steve is in the middle of finals and I was working but we still managed to have a little fun and be nostalgic. 6 years seems like so long but I really don't remember not being together. We have been through alot and our connection is only stronger. I'm thankful for our growing family, it's still a little sureal that we are working on our 2nd kiddo!
Our wedding day was great... the weather, not so much. It was hailing during the ceremony and was freezing when we started to take pictures, but the sun decided to show itself and it turned out to be a beautiful day. We were able to pull off a really great reception on a realatively small budget. I was really not picky about much except my hair.... I insisted on doing it myself which I would not do again.... I also would not wear my veil to the reception... that really destroyed my hair. Steve and I ended up not even getting anything to eat, we were too busy greeting guests. The whole reception thing was really not Steve's cup of tea, He was a trooper but as soon as the clock hit 9 and there was a break in the line, he grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door. We didn't even say goodbye and everyone was wondering where we went:) Now six years later, we would still rather hang out with eachother than any one else. We are a little more boring... I will blame that on kids. We don't really see movies anymore instead we TiVo Jepardy and hit blockbuster. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY....to steve and to me :)

Baby shower

So I had a shower a little bit ago. I don't have much news so I thought I would post about this. I suppose I was hesitant at first because all the pictures are of me. ANYWAY. It was so fun to have a girly shower. This little thing is going to be the most well dressed little girl. People were very generous and had very good taste :) I even got peanuts from Annie (cherry on top of a little elephant themed basket.) Thank you Laurie and Kenzie for putting it all together. I was a bit stupid with invitaions, I forgot to send a whole list of them... sorry to all who were shafted. quilt from Grams.... Sophie's Great-grandma

We had quite a belated Easter party this year the weather was a whole lot nicer.
