Life is about to get really crazy. Steve's classes are really getting tough and the boy that can pull off "A"'s without studying is no longer I think. I'm sure I will steal a few moments here and there during study breaks. Tonight was date night which hasn't happened in a while. It's nice to be refreshed on how good conversation can be with someone you love. Well.... and someone you love that isn't in diapers. Oh yeah... the diaper thing. How in the heck do you potty train a boy? Anyone have any pointers? Maybe a good reference book or web site. Sam's 2 and a half. I guess it's time, right? I was talking about date night. No matter what I'm doing The conversation always goes to mommy stuff. Steve and I did talk about politics and concerts and 5 years from now and oh yeah, Sam.

I've heard of cheerios in the toilet for aim...but good luck! If he's just not interested I got Kaitlyn Elmo's Potty Time movie and right after she watched she decided she wanted to use the toilet, coincidence? or good movie? either or it worked for me!

Stacy, I just found your blog through Anna's. It's so fun to hear about you and Steve. Are you still gone for the summer? Did you go all summer? Geoff and I moved in June so I'm really out of the loop! Sam is growing up darling. I just started a blog this week. It's geoffreyandann-marie.blogspot.com. Keep in touch!

hey stace, we started caleb sitting on a plastic potty, then progressed to sitting on the plastic potty on the toilet (it popped on), then sitting on the toilet and eventually standing. We started about 2 1/2 but we let him take his time. It took a few months but he rarely had accidents. At first I just got the toilet out and let him sit on it whenever he wanted to. The standing occured way later (way after 3, b/c he wanted to be like daddy.)

I'm potty training Ella right now...well, kinda. Right now she's potty training herself while I read: "Potty Trained In Less Than A Day". Got the book from Amazon.com for like $3 after my mom told me she used it on all 5 of us kids. She said that Ashley and I were potty trianed that day and it took the boys 2 days. One BIG thing I've heard from anyone is that if you force the issue when they don't want it then it's bad news bears and good luck trying again. :) Good luck with potty training and wish me luck as well. I'll let you know how Ella does when I'm done reading the book.
