milking the last of summer

The sprinkler has proved to be awesome, and free entertainment these past months. I just love my baby's funny little, no-necked, pot bellied body. I just have to squeeze her. She loves the water in this form, not much of a swimming girl yet but the sprinkler is definetly her cup of tea. I think mostly she just loves to be right in the action of whatever sam is doing. Sam is growing in his confidence and turns everything he does into a sport and loves to show off to the people that love him.

Who wouldnt enjoy the freedom? I remember summer days, living in my black and pink, multi-colored swim suit my mom fashioned herself, just to be ready, at a moments notice to splash in some form of water. The rule at my house was, that we cou

ld run through sprinklers if the grass wasnt moving from the wind and the sun was out.... That meant it was warm enough. I would wait by the window, as still as the grass I hoped to see. If the day would kindly grant me those factors... out I would go, a little streak of hot pink and black...with white hair blowing furiously in the no-wind air. To turn on the hose and enjoy a little awesome, and free entertainment.

Sam was laying on the warm cement to dry off, Soph, thought she would join him.

Sam had fun sitting on the sprinkler head, to lure Sophie in, when she was close enough, he would jump off.
